Early Tuesday morning, Pandemic Legion noticed a Black Legion Titan nestled safe inside a POS shield in Vestouve (Placid). Pandemic Legion, however, are not ones to run away from a challenge, and they love titan kills - no matter how they get them. Enter the metagame. PL has a record of many POS passwords - one of which applied to the tower the BL Avatar was sitting in. Brave Machariel pilots entered the password and gained entry into the forcefield. They proceeded with their mission: to bump the Avatar out of the POS. Heavy interdictors were on standby, and as soon as the Titan was lockable, they caught it with focused points.

Black Legion valiantly formed a fleet to try and save the doomed Titan, even as PL dreads cynoed in and began pounding away at the Avatar. The BL fleet was composed mostly of Ishtars, but they also brought in some supercarriers and began to clear away the dreads. It was too little, too late; the Avatar succumbed to the concentrated fire of the PL fleet. It was far from the perfect, clean Titan gank, though: BL was able to kill some 12 PL dreads, 5 carriers, and two Machariels. PL did not attempt to go after the BL supers, and withdrew from the fight after the Titan went down. While PL certainly killed a valuable ship, it was undoubtedly more costly then was hoped for. At the end of the day, another Titan bit the dust, and many other capital ships went down with it. 

Black Legion 은 곧바로 함대를 구성하여, 불운한 타이탄을 구출하려고 했지만, 그 순간 Pandemic Legion 의 노급전함(Dreadnought) 들이 사이노 점프를 이용하여 진입하였고, Avatar 를 공격하기 시작했습니다.
