PROVIBLOC LOSES S25C-K TO HERO

 Shortly after HERO's successful capture of UL-7I8, Almost Awesome. of HERO set its sights upon T-RPFU in Providence. After the serverwide DDOS issues foiled Almost Awesome's attempt to put up SBUs up during US prime, Provibloc was easily able to destroy the SBUs before downtime with dreadnoughts. HERO next targeted S25C-K in northern Catch. S25C-K is a dead-end system with an ice belt, but has no station of its own thus making it of very low value. Provibloc initially resisted heavily, repelling HERO three separate times from the system before HERO managed to online SBUs and push the infrastructure hub into its first reinforcement timer.

Provibloc 은 처음에 거세게 저항하여, HERO 가 SBU를 활성화시키고  인프라스트럭처 허브 처음으로 진영에 가져오기 전까지, 세번이나 성계에서 물러서게 만들었습니다.

SHIELD REINFORCEMENT TIMER (26TH AUGUST)

The stage was set for Tuesday the 26th when the shield timer of the infrastructure hub came out. Provibloc called upon Pandemic Legion to assist them. Oddly, RUS did not attend this fight despite their previous support of Provibloc. The Unthinkables came once again steadfastly in support of HERO. Provibloc formed a battleship/battlecruiser sentry doctrine backed up by PL in a Proteus fleet. HERO chose to field their usual Moa/Eagle doctrine supported by INK in a Tengu fleet.

이번 무대는 26일 화요일, 인프라스트럭처 허브의 쉴드영역에서 벌어졌습니다. Provibloc 은 Pandemic Legion 에 도움을 요청했습니다. 이상하게도, RUS 는 전에 Provibloc 을 도왔었음에도 불구하고, 이번 전투에 참가하지 않았습니다. The Unthinkables 는 다시 한번 HERO 를 확실하게 지원하고 나섰습니다. Provibloc 은 전함(battleship)과 전투순양함(battlecruiser)의 센트리 드론를 Proteus(갈란테 전략순양함) 편대 안의 Pandemic Legion 의 지원을 받는 진형으로 배치하였습니다. HERO 는 그들이 통상적으로 사용하는 Tengu(칼다리 전략순양함) 함대, INK 의 지원을 받는 Moa/Eagle 방식을 선택하였습니다.

Provibloc got into system first and attempted to destroy the SBU before HERO could push the infrastructure hub into the next reinforcement timer. Upon its arrival in system, HERO warped onto the Provibloc fleet and began to brawl. The outcome of the fight was clear from the outset - Provibloc's battleships were unable to overcome the more numerous Eagles and Tengus of their opposition even with Pandemic Legion’s assistance. Pandemic Legion initially called HERO primaries; however, after losing nearly all their logistics, PL disengaged and allegedly shot several Provibloc members on their way out. Caught in bubbles, most of the Provibloc fleet was unable to escape and died to the combined firepower of HERO’s Eagles and INK's Tengus. In the end, Provibloc and Pandemic Legion lost a combined 30B ISK while only managing to inflict 13B ISK worth of damages to HERO. HERO proceeded to push the infrastructure hub into its armor reinforcement timer before heading home with heads held high.

ARMOR REINFORCEMENT TIMER (28TH AUGUST)

The final timer that would decide the fate of the system fell two days after the previous shield reinforcement timer fight. Provibloc requested assistance from both RUS and Pandemic Legion in an attempt to tip the odds its way. However, Provibloc only could scrape together 85 of its own pilots for the timer. Even combined with RUS and PL, the allied forces were still not enough to outnumber the HERO and The Unthinkables fleets.

쉴드 진영 전투 이후 2일 뒤, 이 성계의 운명을 결정 지을 마지막 시간이 펼쳐졌습니다. Provibloc 은 최후의 방법으로 RUS와 PL, 두 곳 모두에 도움을 요청했습니다. 그러나 Provibloc 은 그 시간에 전투에 참여할 내부 인원을 고작 85명의 파일럿만큼 긁어모으는 것이 전부였습니다. 비록 RUS 와 PL 을 합치더라도, 연합 함대는 HERO 와 The Unthinkables 함대에 비하여 매우 부족했습니다.

Despite the atrocious past performance of its dated armor drone assist battleship/battlecruiser doctrine, Provibloc once again fielded the same fleet concept yet again, with RUS Tengu support and Pandemic Legion Legion/Proteii support. The majority of HERO forces brought Moas/Eagles, with HERO member TEST in Ishtars and INK in Tengus. The fight began with TEST Ishtars and RUS Tengus engaged with each other. RUS appeared to pull an early lead before HERO Eagles warped in to assist TEST. Pandemic Legion entered system to back their Russian temporary allies. Things continued to go well for RUS/PL as they removed the Ishtars and Feroxes from the field while only sustaining limited logistics losses. When the Provibloc fleet finally arrived on field, it worked with Pandemic Legion to focus on killing the HERO Feroxes and Eagles.

At this point, HERO temporarily withdrew before the fight could go further south for them in order to await INK reinforcements. Oddly, a Brothers of Tangra Talwar gang entered system before dying quickly to HERO forces. Pandemic Legion warped onto the HERO and INK fleets a few minutes later and began to inefficiently trade logistic ships with INK. Provibloc joined PL on field, beginning the second major engagement of the night. Provibloc acted primarily as a hitpoint shield for the more expensive PL fleet, welping several dozen battleships while Pandemic Legion did the majority of the damage. RUS had bailed after the first fight, so the Provibloc and PL forces found themselves quite heavily outnumbered. Eventually the Provibloc meatshield wore thin enough to endanger Pandemic Legion ships, prompting both Provibloc and PL to disengage and return home. The infrastructure hub died 20 minutes later, with the TCU following suit 10 minutes after that. This fight turned out much more positively for Provibloc than the previous night’s engagement - Provibloc and allies lost 15B ISK while inflicting 9B ISK of damages.

Despite having relatively even numbers with HERO forces and the backing of two powerful allies, Provibloc was unable to save S25C-K or effectively harass the BRAVE TCU before it onlined on in the early hours of the 29th. On a positive note for Provibloc, this pair of engagements has finally prompted Provibloc leadership to shift doctrines away from the now ineffective drone battleships/battlecruisers and instead towards Tengus and Legions. While the Tech 3 fleet will certainly be far more effective against HERO’s forces, its expensive price tag and Provibloc’s lack of a developed SRP will certainly mean even lower participation rates.

 HERO 의 병력보다 머릿 수도 더 많고, 2개의 강력한 동맹군의 지원을 받았음에도 불구하고, Provibloc 은 S25C-K 를 방어하는데 실패하였으며, 또한 29일 이른 시간, BRAVE 의 TCU 가 설치되기 전까지 효과적인 공격을 가하지 못했습니다. Last year, when Against All Authorities battled Provibloc for ERVK-P, Provibloc motivated 400-500 pilots to attend on its side in appropriate doctrine ships. Sadly, Provibloc’s recent lack of organisation and abundance of corruption results in an inability to afford the SRP required for it to attain its earlier participation numbers. HERO will almost certainly continue to target BR-N97 next. So far, HERO has been exclusively attacking CVA held systems, perhaps in an attempt to create tension between the alliances of Provibloc so that HERO can approach and poach individual alliances. If such a thing did happen, it would almost certainly put an end to effective Provibloc resistance.
