Another day, another dead titan. It looks like a typical gank of a pilot of no particular allegiance: found in an unsafe position in lowsec, pinned and slaughtered. One obvious feature makes this kill somewhat unusual. This titan was felled not by the professional hunters of Pandemic Legion, but scrappy, ancient alliance Ethereal Dawn.

The pilot, TheJackalMiner, left then-Bastion, now-TNT corp xX-Crusader-Xx [ODBO], in mid-July. The last time this particular character took part in combat was as a Dramiel pilot in <PBLORD>.

Apparently, Ethereal Dawn spotted this titan and managed to tackle it - only three jumps from their home system. ED and friends took out the Avatar with dreadnoughts and subcapitals, the titan not attempting to mount a defence or fit a proper tank. Little more than a dozen pilots managed to take down this Amarr beast. TMC is looking further into this story - if there's anything particularly notable about this kill, expect an in-depth update.
